First gender neutral toilets at St James’s

Back in July 2016, almost 1000 people took to the cobblestones of Dublin 8 to “Run the Liberties” and help us raise funds for the GUIDe Clinic here at St James’s Hospital.

Thanks to their participation and the support of our partners; “Diageo”, “Momentum Support”, “Medserv” and “Lets’ Get Checked”, we raised a staggering €50,000.

These funds are being used to carry out much needed upgrade works to the GUIDe Clinic with the sole focus in improving patients care and comfort.

We are delighted to announce that work has now started and that this project is being 100% funded by the funds raised from the 2016 Liberties Fun Run.

We are particularly proud that as part of the project, we are installing the very first gender neutral toilet in the hospital, working with St James’s Hospital to continue being an inclusive and equal campus for all.

Our 2017 Liberties Fun Run is taking place on Thursday, 20th of July and you can find out more here.
