Eamonn Kelly raises €1,250 for Target Lung Cancer

Eamonn Kelly joined us last week to present us with €1,250 for our Target Lung Cancer Appeal. Huge thanks to Eamonn for his fundraising and for taking part in the New York City Marathon and completing it in 3hrs 50 mins. Thanks also to everyone who supported Eamonn’s fundraising in memory of his dad.

Eamonn tells us more – “I completed the New York Marathon in November 2019 in memory of my late father Michael Kelly who sadly passed away in July 2019 after a battle with cancer. Many thanks to all my sponsors who helped me raise a total of €2,500 on behalf of two charities; St James’s Hospital Foundation & North Louth Hospice Cancer Support. Both charities were a great source of support to my father and our family throughout his illness. I’m hoping my fundraising efforts will go someway to thank both for this support. During the summer of 2018 my father spent in excess of 3 months in the lung unit at St. James’s Hospital Dublin. We remain extremely grateful to the doctors and nurses at St. James for their expert care during this time.”

Thanks so much again to Eamonn and his supporters!
