St James Hospital and its teaching partner, Trinity College Dublin, has significant experience in working with trusts and foundations to further our fundamental purpose to deliver health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services. As the country’s leading teaching hospital we are committed to the creation of an environment and circumstances in which education and research in the health sciences and allied areas is possible and flourishes.
If you are connecting from a trust or foundation, we would be delighted to speak with your further and to learn more about your interests.
In recent years we have received grants from Wellcome Trust towards the building of the Wellcome Trust-HRB Clinical Research Facility. St James’s Hospital is in receipt of a major donation from The Atlantic Philanthropies, to part fund the €48m Mercer Institute for Successful Ageing, along with funding from HSE, the Department of Health, and St James’s Hospital in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin. MISA is currently under construction at St James’s Hospital, and will be Ireland’s first dedicated centre for successful ageing.
